BBMSK (“Bumsk”) is a group of young adults who minister to the homeless on the streets of Back Bay. They take sandwiches, fruit, socks, and Rosaries to distribute, and take time to listen to the stories of the men and women they encounter. Pope Francis has exhorted us not to adopt a “throw-away” culture that neglects people’s basic human need, and this is an answer to that call. The group meets Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 6:00 pm on the front steps of the Shrine. Come whenever you are able.
